Gimme some progressive jackpots

Yeah alright im hooked. A buddy of mine plays online casino poker at a certain site but man, all you have to do is gimme some slots and a bucketful of patience- and it will pay off in the end, and has. I admit I haven’t won millions yet, but if I would have a dime for every time a got a complimentary free spin- I would have many dimes. I’m not the only one hooked I’m sure; where else can you wager so little and get such a huge payout? Not in roulette and blackjack –let me tell you that much. The reason being they don’t have a progressive jackpot where you can win on a single bet. I’ve been told time and again that slots have a worse house edge than most table games so here’s the reason why I play it anyway. For example take a $500,000 progressive jackpot, which could be won with a $1 bet. The odds of winning, considering a 90% payback rate and a house edge of 10%, are 50,000,000 to 1. If the machine is spun about one million times a year, the casino will probably pay up every half a year. Now, compare that to blackjack with a house edge of 0.5%- so if you buy $100 in chips and bet $5 at a time then only after a few years will you reach $500,000. The odds of achieving this though would be about 10,000 to 1, which is still better than the odds in the slots example give above. The reality is that this never happens, but it can with slots, even with worse odds. The average person can play slots and make $500,000 from $1 wager, but even the luckiest blackjack player will needs thousands of winning hands at a low wager amount. Just thought you should play slots a bit more, poker is SO overrated.

Betting Odds Secrets

There is a secret bet in craps called the craps ‘odds’ bet, which originally came from this guy who told another guy to swear on his mother’s name not to tell the secret to anyone else. Guess how that story ended. Rumors started flying like crazy and the secret got out. Eventually it landed in my lap, and like a bad magician I will tell you the secret so you can pass it on as you please. The bet has only minimal casino favorable odds. Ok- so a ‘Passline’ bet should be made first of all, before a new shooter starts his roll of the dice. The first roll is made, and then you can place the “odds” bet directly behind your passline bet. If the shooter makes his point, you are paid 1 to 1 for your passline bet but you are also paid the real odds for your odds bet. If the point is a 4 or 10, your win is paid 2 to 1. If the point is a 5 or 9 your win is paid 3 to 2. if the point is a 6 or 8, your win is paid 6 to 5. Usually in the passline bets the casino’s odds are 1.41% in their favor but if you place an odds bet, you are bringing the odds to about even. Sometimes the online casino allows multiple bets with an odds bet, depending what kind of point were talking about here.if the point is 4 or 10 you can bet 3 times odds. If the point is a 5 or 9 you can bet. Remember, if you have the chance to do so- bet odds and their multiples!

Facts about Online Blackjack

Can anyone tell me why online blackjack isn’t as popular as online poker? It seems like blackjack is an easier game to play, and goes faster than a game of poker. Is it because of the payouts, which tend to be bigger in online poker? I’m just trying to figure this out because I want to gamble at online casinos but I’m conflicted as to what games to play! I know that online poker is, like, the sophisticated game, but I think that online blackjack should be the most popular game around.

I mean, online blackjack is all-inclusive. There’s rarely anyone turned away. And it’s a bit more personal than online poker, because you’re just playing against the dealer. I talk to a lot of people, and I read a lot of research, that says online poker is more popular than online blackjack, and I would like to know why. It’s not like not having the answer to this is driving me insane, but if it is worth my time to play online blackjack I want to know what’s going on with it.

Playtech Shows Us the Money

Hey Guys! I am not sure if you saw this one, but it seems that Playtech had a very good year so far. The truth is I do play at Playtech driven online gambling sites, and I do think that they have great products, and now, with such numbers – boy, I would love to be on there board of directors. Check this out, the online gambling software provider has their poker-originating revenues up by more than 800 percent! That’s just nuts; and that’s not all! Their flagship product, casino online gambling, is up by more than 100 percent. I am telling you, these people know what they are doing.

Apparently, the online gambling software provider released its financial reports for the first half of 2006 and according to several news sites that I’ve been looking into, the numbers are great. It’s nice to see that online gambling companies are doing well, as we –the players- are the ones to enjoy their fruits. When companies such as Playtech bring home a $46 million paycheck, you can rest assured that online gambling isn’t going anywhere.
