You can't count on a certain number of times that will then create a win and if you run out of money before that win comes you will lose a lot.

How To Play Roulette

Playing roulette is simple. In the land-based casinos all you do is place your bets on the marked area of the table and the dealer who conducts the game does the rest while you wait in suspense. Fifty Percent Bets

On the left, long side of the table there are three boxes. Each one of them covers half of the numbers on the roulette wheel (not including 0 and 00) in a different way. Your bet is a 50% bet between red and black or even and off or high and low, depending on the box. These bets pay even money, 1 to 1.

Five Bet

This bet covers the following numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The chip is placed on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, between 00 and 3. If either number hits, your five bets pays 6 to 1.

Line Bet

A line bet covers the six different numbers in two rows of three numbers. For example: 1,2,3 together with 4,5,6. You place the chip on outer right boundary line of the roulette table, where the line dividing the two rows intersects it. If the ball stops at any one of the six numbers you chose, it is a win. The line bet pays 5 to 1.

Split Bet

This is a bet placed on two neighboring numbers in the roulette table, this is done by placing the chip on the line dividing the two numbers. If the ball stops on any one of the two numbers, your bet pays 17 to 1.

Straight Up

This is a straightforward simple bet. You put your chips on a single number, including zero (0) and double zero (00). If the ball stops at your number, your bet pays 35 to 1.

Street Bet

Roulette History

There are two theories as to the invention of Roulette. Both trace the game to France in the mid 17th Century. One of these theories connects Roulette to a French scientist, Blaise Pascal as the person who invented or improved the game during a "monastic retreat" and played for the first time in a Paris casino. Blackjack Switch Terms

Switch	the act of exchanging the second cards.
Super match	Is an optional bet that does not have to be the same amount as the 'Blackjack Switch' wager. It can be higher or lower, if desired. Players who place this bet are aiming to be dealt a pair or better from the initial 4 cards dealt out. (See layout on game for payout odds). All 'Super Match' bets are settled before any play of the hands.

How to play Blackjack Switch

When you play blackjack switch, the main trait of the game is that the player is allowed to 'switch' the second cards around, if desired.
For example, if you are dealt a king/five on your first hand, and a six/ace on your second hand, then you can 'switch' the second cards, the ace and five around, to make the following 2 hands: king/ace and six/five. All doubling and splitting is allowed as in regular blackjack. To balance this powerful element, the dealer will 'push' players' hands on a dealer's total of 22 (in apposed to busting in regular blackjack).
However, 'Blackjacks' will still win. This still gives the player a significant advantage and so 2 further rules are implemented to make the game an extremely fair proposition. The other 2 rules are: 1. Blackjacks pay even money. 2. Dealer Hits Soft 17.
All rules of blackjack switch are based on conventional blackjack unless written otherwise. The following are the exceptions.
Six decks are used. The player must make two bets of equal size. All cards are dealt face up. The player may switch the 2nd card dealt to each hand. Player may double on any 2 cards. Player may double after a split. Player cannot resplit. Full European no-peek rule - player loses total amount bet against a dealer blackjack. A benefit of this rule is that the player can switch to a blackjack, even if the dealer has a blackjack.

Taking the commission into consideration it turns out that you are still a little better off by betting that the house will win. This theory is true when the commission is the usual 5%, however, if the commission changes then you have to change strategy. If the commission is less than 5% then it is always to your advantage to bet with the house, while if the commission is more than 5% it pays to bet on the player winning.
Removing the tie hands in the event there is no payoff, the probability of the player winning are 49.32% and for losing 50.68%. For various commissions we can calculate the following average payoffs then, assuming 100 wagers of $1 were made.
Baccarat sometimes allows for a bet to be made for a tie, and sometimes doesn't (mini baccarat typically played online usually does). Although the odds of 8 to 1 may sound tempting, it is known as one of the worst wagers in the casino, so don't bother making this bet part of your baccarat strategy.

How To Play Baccarat

Baccarat Overview

The player's aim is to get a hand that is closer to 9 in value than the banker's. The game is played modulo 10, that is if the total of the hand is larger than 10, then 10 is subtracted from the total. (Thus the value of a hand is always between 0 through 9)
For instance, if the player's cards total 15, 10 is subtracted and the value of the hand becomes 5. An ace counts as 1, two counts as 2, etc, up through nine counts as 9, but tens (also jacks, queens and kings) count as 0.
Playing the game

To start to play baccarat both player and banker are dealt two cards face down and the next move depends on the cards in the hands.
If the player or banker has a card total of 8 or 9, he turns the cards over immediately. The other must do so also. (In web based baccarat cards are always face up) A 9 value wins over any lesser total, and if neither player has a 9 then 8 wins over any lesser total. Tied 9s or tied 8s are a stand off; no money changes hands. (Unless the other players around the table can bet ties)
If neither player nor banker has a natural (a total of 8 or 9) then play goes to the player. The player stands (does not draw) on a total of 6 or 7, but if the player has a total of 5 or less he must draw one card (face up).

Baccarat betting

Baccarat has quite reasonable odds for the player. On player bets the house has a small edge, to balance this the house takes a commission (usually 5 percent) on winning bank bets. Bets are made before any cards have been dealt. The banker plays against only one player at a time, but any or all the other players can bet on the hand.
Up to 12 or 14 players can sit around the baccarat kidney shaped table depending on its size. Three dealers, called croupiers, run the game; one handles the cards, while the other two handle the wagers and the commission that is paid on winning bank bets.
