A Roulette Game Serenade

I’m here to preach the good word about roulette game versions, my fellow gamblers. American roulette isn’t for the faint of gambling heart. American roulette game wheels are riskier than European roulette game wheels, and for good reason! I’ve tried online roulette game wheels before for both versions, and let me tell you – you gotta be on your toes! Who cares if roulette isn’t really an American game, because you can play the American version of the roulette game wheel for as long as you like at online casinos!

What kind of roulette game system does 32Vegas have, does anybody know? I’ve only tried it at other online casino sites, but I’ve heard that 32Vegas has pretty cool roulette game offerings. I’m not really discriminating when it comes to roulette game stuff, though. I’ll play it anywhere, whatever the software provider. I find that being flexible when it comes to choosing where to play roulette is the best way to go, because that is often the way to find the games of roulette that have the really cool payouts.

Give it Up for Online Roulette

Okay, like, for serious people, why am I not hearing more about online roulette game sites? I hear all about online poker, slots, progressives and blah blah blah. But what about roulette? Don’t hate it because of the French name, love it because it is one of the most fun games to play at an online casino! American or European roulette doesn’t matter – roulette, as a game, is where it’s at. Sure I might as well be crying out to an empty room when I go to some websites, but come on – let’s live it up thanks to roulette games, my friends!

Hey! Roulette fans! Make your voices heard! I’m hearing disturbing rumors that online casinos haven’t updated some of their roulette game offerings in a while. Is this true? I can’t tell the difference one way or the other. Someone help me out with this! I want to play the most up-to-date online roulette games. This is because the most up-to-date games are at websites that are regularly updated too. The benefits of only playing a roulette game at such sites should be obvious!

How I Declared War on Online Casino

I never was a big fan of online casinos. I divorced my wife because she blew our son’s college money at some dingy online casino that disappeared off the face of Internet a week later. So from now on I have a mission! I’m the online casino avenging angel! I go to various online casinos and I check out their payout rate. So, those online casino payouts that are really low I put in my little black book and then I create this online casino guide of low payouts.

This means that no player should even think of heading in that direction. No way! Most chances are that this online casino is a total rip-off and you are gonna end up broke and pathetic. And I want to spare some poor suckers like me who lost their families to this disgusting industry. Well, my list is almost ready, so you online casino executives just wait and see! I’m gonna bury you!

Craps girl

“Been alota yadda yadda about how its possible to play craps online, without all the commotion of cocktail waitresses, mirrors, absence of clocks, hypnotic carpet patterns, booze galore, hustling dealers – you get the point. Uh, try changing the word commotion with the word distractions and then we’ve got ourselves something to talk about here. Whenever my girlfriend and I go to Vegas (which isn’t often, but anyway) she shakes me down for fifty bucks and loses it in five minutes at some table where they’re playing a game she knows only a little about. She says and I quote: ‘ Its fun’. Well damn girl! Fifty bucks is no joke, take away all the distractions- the players that are pressuring you to throw the dice, the alcohol that numb your senses and sit yourself down on your favorite chair with your favorite music and for god sake- lower the house edge by doing this! I have no proof that it lowers the house edge but I have a gut feeling about it, and my gut has never been wrong! Except this one time at band camp. “

Best online casino tip is no (waitress) tips

I have nothing against waitresses and strongly believe they should be tipped, handsomely. Oh yes. But the point that I raise in the subject of this blog entry is that you don’t need to drink at all when playing games at an online casino. Now, after reading this short entry, you will have two rules involving drinking – don’t drink and drive, and don’t drink and gamble at online casinos.

Think about the free drinks you are welcome to at land based casinos and how they would get you a bit dizzy, then in party mood and finally at the slot machine not knowing when you started playing the machines and how long has passed since. At home, you have the controls, and it is the best online casino tip to keep in the driver’s seat, sort of speak. You need your head for the gambling, so don’t drown it in alcohol.

Online casino news as a window to the world

I’ve come to realize that online casino news are more than just industry news. Or that the industry is more than just a narrow corner of human life and activity. They serve, the news stories that are found at online casinos, as a window to the world…

For instance, human stories of people who won considerable prizes at online casinos are total psychological studies, if you wish them to be. Or entertainment stories such as a Britney Spears sex video that will most likely air on an online casino. Sports events and results, of course, are a major part of the news at the sites, as they deal with sportsbets and such. But above all, at least for me, the news at the gambling sites offer a flight of imagination, a leap of faith, a world beyond this world of millions of dollars and beautiful people, all happy playing their games.

A Baccarat Lecture This Ain’t

Look, I ain’t here to give y’all a lecture on online casino games like baccarat. What I am here to do today is sing the praises of baccarat, because anyone who has ever played this game for real or played it virtually online knows what I’m talking about when I say that online casino baccarat is a game with class that excludes no class from playing it. I’ve been a baccarat player for some time, and it seems like the game sometimes suffers from a bad image. Sometimes, baccarat seems too elitist a game to be successfully featured by a down-to-earth online casino industry.

But nothing could be further from the truth. Baccarat is a game of skill and chance, just like so many other online casino games out there. If you like games of chance like roulette, then you’ll probably like baccarat too. I’m not going to try to coerce you or anything, but the next time you’re at a real casino you might want to give baccarat a try if you haven’t already, because it helps us gamblers keep a great game going.

Sad but True

Hello, my fellow players! Are you ready for a little online casino fun? Those of you who know all the stuff and all the ins and outs of the online casino are welcome to click on the big red “X” on the upper right corner of your monitor screen! However, those players who think they might need a little online casino guide are very welcome to read the following! Advice “numero uno”: If you are stuck choosing an online casino, don’t go with the first one that has cool graphics and a huge banner that promises to give half a million bucks for simply registering!

Read some online casino reviews first, and you won’t be stuck in a crappy situation in the future! Remember, some online casinos are just a one time deal! Shocking, huh?! Nah, not really! All they want to do is just lure the player to their lousy online casino and (don’t faint now) steal all his money! So, always play with respected and well-known online casinos! That’s it for now, go get ‘em!

Roulette kicks ass

Hey all! I’ve played my first roulette game at the online casino, and it was great! I didn’t image it to be so much like the real thing. I mean, yea, it’s not exactly like playing at a land-based casino, but it’s great! The graphics are amazing, and they do give a feel of a normal casino (I’ve played the Playtech version of the game). There are many options, with is always a good thing – although at times it can be a bit confusing. Hehe.

I am not a seasoned player, and I visit online casino sites only once in a while, so I don’t have a lot to compare to, but the experience was great. Really, if you are looking for a fun and very authentic time at the online casino, my recommendation to you is to play roulette. My next try will be Craps, and I’ll write you guys some more about it. I am sure there are more people like me, that don’t have extensive gambling experience and would like to hear what a novice player think. Take care!

Thinking about Playing Online Poker

Poker is one of those games at the online casino that you just have to try and play, even if you’re more of a slots girl or a blackjack guy. Me, well, I’m more of a roulette type of person because I dig the many different pockets of the game as are found in the American version. However, I also love the European version of roulette as well – in fact, I like European roulette a lot more. But got off track when I wanted to talk instead about online poker as it is played at online casino sites.

I’m not an expert at online casino games or anything, but I know what I’ve read and what other people have told me about online poker. From what they’ve said, it’s quite a game to play and it’s more than worth your while to try it out, even if you’re just playing online poker games for free. Online poker is one of those games that you hear about and hear about until one day you decide to simply up and try it.

My sensible brain wasted on Blackjack

So I was playing online blackjack the other day at one of the more ordinary casino sites pasted on my desktop. As the dealer gave the cards while I was expected to decide upon the extra third or forth hit, I finally understood how many lucky factors take hold in this game. I guess that the land based casino doesn’t make it as apparent as you feel more pressured to act fast. I took my time with the online casino version and realized that at least 60 percent of my failed efforts wouldn’t have ended any other way if I was to choose a fourth hit or alternatively stay with my third, or second.

Consider this: You get a sum of 13, the dealer stands on 4, you decide upon an extra card which of course exceeds an 8, the dealer at the mean time continues although no matter what he does, he is most likely to pass the 13 mark. The bottom line is that even if I had decided on staying on my pathetic 13, it wouldn’t have changed my odds one bit. After a series of a dozen examples just like that, I decide its not my day and thank God it was only a dollar bet per game lost… What can I say – I’m what you a call a sensible player (-:

Roulette online live dealers

Online gambling is a real late night fetish of mine ever since I’ve discovered the wonders of live dealers. There’s actually a person there somewhere, not necessarily a Las Vegas Indian but real anyhow, just waiting for your bet and then actually spinning the roulette and random the right number

Biggest Ever Progressive Jackpot

I have to say that I never though I would like to be a part of history, but going down in history as the online casino player to win the largest jackpot ever is something that I am more than willing to do! People, this you have to see - the progressive jackpot over at InterCasino has reached an unbelievable height of a little over $4 million! There’s going to be one lucky winner very soon.

If you didn’t check InterCasino’s Millionaires Club, then you should. This progressive jackpot is amazing. As more of you play the game, the jackpot will increase and the prize will become even larger than it is! I’ve tried my luck a few times, but with no go. I am planning to try out a few more times, as a $4 million jackpot is something that I am willing to invest my money for.

I’ve read that this is the largest online casino jackpot ever, and that the winner (maybe me or one of you) will be the first player in online casino history to win such a sum. You’ll have to agree that such a title is something any online casino player would like to have. Cheers all, take care.

Hooray for Free Blackjack Games

Online blackjack is such a fun game! I love playing online blackjack, especially in the free casino games areas of online casinos, because I can get as much practice as I want without risking any money at all! It’s so easy and convenient, I can double-down, hit, stand or whatever and it’s all in good fun. Everyone who likes to gamble at online casinos should check out the free casino online blackjack games, because they are tops! I just started playing online blackjack not too long ago, and I’ve been somewhat addicted to talking about it ever since! Ain’t that crazy?

Where do you guys like to play online blackjack? I’m kind of patriotic, so I’ll go to USA Casino and play the free casino games there – it’s good practice, people! Does anyone else have any other clue as to good online blackjack games? I’m only on the lookout for quality, people, not fancy-shmancy graphics. We’re talking about me being a huge online blackjack fan, and I’m in need of good blackjack gaming. Any suggestions will be mucho, mucho appreciated!

Gimme some progressive jackpots

Yeah alright im hooked. A buddy of mine plays online casino poker at a certain site but man, all you have to do is gimme some slots and a bucketful of patience- and it will pay off in the end, and has. I admit I haven’t won millions yet, but if I would have a dime for every time a got a complimentary free spin- I would have many dimes. I’m not the only one hooked I’m sure; where else can you wager so little and get such a huge payout? Not in roulette and blackjack –let me tell you that much. The reason being they don’t have a progressive jackpot where you can win on a single bet. I’ve been told time and again that slots have a worse house edge than most table games so here’s the reason why I play it anyway. For example take a $500,000 progressive jackpot, which could be won with a $1 bet. The odds of winning, considering a 90% payback rate and a house edge of 10%, are 50,000,000 to 1. If the machine is spun about one million times a year, the casino will probably pay up every half a year. Now, compare that to blackjack with a house edge of 0.5%- so if you buy $100 in chips and bet $5 at a time then only after a few years will you reach $500,000. The odds of achieving this though would be about 10,000 to 1, which is still better than the odds in the slots example give above. The reality is that this never happens, but it can with slots, even with worse odds. The average person can play slots and make $500,000 from $1 wager, but even the luckiest blackjack player will needs thousands of winning hands at a low wager amount. Just thought you should play slots a bit more, poker is SO overrated.

Betting Odds Secrets

There is a secret bet in craps called the craps ‘odds’ bet, which originally came from this guy who told another guy to swear on his mother’s name not to tell the secret to anyone else. Guess how that story ended. Rumors started flying like crazy and the secret got out. Eventually it landed in my lap, and like a bad magician I will tell you the secret so you can pass it on as you please. The bet has only minimal casino favorable odds. Ok- so a ‘Passline’ bet should be made first of all, before a new shooter starts his roll of the dice. The first roll is made, and then you can place the “odds” bet directly behind your passline bet. If the shooter makes his point, you are paid 1 to 1 for your passline bet but you are also paid the real odds for your odds bet. If the point is a 4 or 10, your win is paid 2 to 1. If the point is a 5 or 9 your win is paid 3 to 2. if the point is a 6 or 8, your win is paid 6 to 5. Usually in the passline bets the casino’s odds are 1.41% in their favor but if you place an odds bet, you are bringing the odds to about even. Sometimes the online casino allows multiple bets with an odds bet, depending what kind of point were talking about here.if the point is 4 or 10 you can bet 3 times odds. If the point is a 5 or 9 you can bet. Remember, if you have the chance to do so- bet odds and their multiples!

Facts about Online Blackjack

Can anyone tell me why online blackjack isn’t as popular as online poker? It seems like blackjack is an easier game to play, and goes faster than a game of poker. Is it because of the payouts, which tend to be bigger in online poker? I’m just trying to figure this out because I want to gamble at online casinos but I’m conflicted as to what games to play! I know that online poker is, like, the sophisticated game, but I think that online blackjack should be the most popular game around.

I mean, online blackjack is all-inclusive. There’s rarely anyone turned away. And it’s a bit more personal than online poker, because you’re just playing against the dealer. I talk to a lot of people, and I read a lot of research, that says online poker is more popular than online blackjack, and I would like to know why. It’s not like not having the answer to this is driving me insane, but if it is worth my time to play online blackjack I want to know what’s going on with it.

Playtech Shows Us the Money

Hey Guys! I am not sure if you saw this one, but it seems that Playtech had a very good year so far. The truth is I do play at Playtech driven online gambling sites, and I do think that they have great products, and now, with such numbers – boy, I would love to be on there board of directors. Check this out, the online gambling software provider has their poker-originating revenues up by more than 800 percent! That’s just nuts; and that’s not all! Their flagship product, casino online gambling, is up by more than 100 percent. I am telling you, these people know what they are doing.

Apparently, the online gambling software provider released its financial reports for the first half of 2006 and according to several news sites that I’ve been looking into, the numbers are great. It’s nice to see that online gambling companies are doing well, as we –the players- are the ones to enjoy their fruits. When companies such as Playtech bring home a $46 million paycheck, you can rest assured that online gambling isn’t going anywhere.

Don’t Skip the Sports News Either

It is said and recommended, and often repeated, that serious gamblers must read the online casino news and keep updated with all that is going on around the industry. This includes new games releases, security features, attractive or noteworthy casino specials (promotions and bonuses mostly) and the such. But there is much more news surrounding the online casino world than the strict online casino news category. As closed in and specific as one might think the online casino industry to be, it actually spans greater fields and includes elements from the “real world” as well.

Take for example sports. Sports betting of different kinds, different sports professions and from all over the world are quite common at online casino and certainly much loved by many gamblers. This has some consequences with regard to the news that gamblers are recommended keeping on top of. Sports news are also important to read. At that, not only your local papers sports supplement, but also any development that goes around the world and is related to your field of betting. Luckily, like online casino gambling, this too is easily accessible on the Web.

How to Win Roulette

Roulette Winning Strategies

Myths

In a game existing so long, involving only the random luck of numbers and a ball, many have claimed to discover a "system", a special strategy to beat roulette. During these hundreds of years, the systems were checked over and over again, mostly resulting in revealing the so-called system as just foolishness. These systems have tempting names like Fibonacci, Martingale, D'Alembert and Labouchere. The one thing they all have in common is that they are all based on increasing your bets as you lose. Most of them put their bet on the even money wagers like red or black.

The two most famous ones are Martingale and D'Alembert. In Martingale you double your wager after every loss until you finally win. Notice that when you do win, you'll only be one unit ahead. D'Alembert is only slightly different. This is a technique related to increasing one unit of wager each time you lose and cutting back a unit when you win.

No matter what the system, there is one very big problem. These systems involve risking very large sums of money while winning these kinds of bets only pays even money. In order to keep up with one of these systems the player has to have enough money to go on doubling his bet while gambling no matter how many times he loses. You can't count on a certain number of times that will then create a win and if you run out of money before that win comes you will lose a lot.

Another known "strategy" in more modern times is "biased wheels" where some flaw in the wheel itself creates an edge because the ball seems to fall in a certain "sector" more often than it should on a random basis. Alert players can in fact make an advantage out of this and so the casinos are always checking their Roulette wheels and doing all they can to prevent this from happening.

Roulette Story

After four years of saving $225,000, Jade Coal, a 39 engineer from Spain decided to take his dream to Las Vegas for the ultimate roulette spin.

Wanting to bet it all on one spin of the wheel, Jade searched Las Vegas for a casino. After turned down by a few, he was referred to Binion's Horseshoe Club in the Downtown area. The Horseshoe, although having at the time, a limit of $100,000 on red or black roulette bets agreed to accept the unconventional bet. In addition, the casino agreed to "block out" the double zero on the wheel, which does not exist in the European version of the game.

Jade chose red as his color. After the casino and the dealer agreed to a few "practice spins", he made his bet - on red. The ball landed on the red 7. He had won $220,000 - and immediately asked his winnings be placed in the casino cage. Jade also vowed never to gamble again.

It was the largest roulette bet in the 44 year history of the casino.

How To Play Roulette

Playing roulette is simple. In the land-based casinos all you do is place your bets on the marked area of the table and the dealer who conducts the game does the rest while you wait in suspense. When it comes to Web Based Gambling it is almost the same. There are two basic steps to follow in order to play the game at an online casino. After deciding on your bet you move the mouse around the felt table to the marked area matching your chosen bet. Then, by clicking the left button you deposit chips on the table. Right clicking will remove chips. You can place chips on individual numbers or on the borders shared by two or four numbers, same as the bets that are optional in regular casinos. The next step, once you have decided upon your bet and placed your chips, is simply to press the Spin button and start the game. The roulette wheel will spin and the ball will be placed on the wheel. Gradually it will come to rest in one of the numbered pockets on the wheel. If the number falls with in the range of any one of your bets then you have won.

Now, all you need to know is what kinds of bets are available and what payoffs are there.

Types of Bets

Roulette offers a few different kinds of bets at the table:

Column Bet

There are three boxes on the short side of the roulette table. These boxes are marked "2 to 1." Each box signifies the twelve numbers above it. By placing your chip in one of these boxes, you mark all of the twelve numbers above it (0 and 00 excluded). If the ball stops at any one of these numbers, you have a win. This bet pays 2 to 1.

Corner Bet

Corner bets are the same as street bets only they cover four numbers. The chip is placed on the cross where the four numbers meet. If the ball stops on either one of the four numbers it is a win. The corner bet pays 8 to 1.

Dozens Bet

It is possible to bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd 12," or "3rd 12." A winning dozen bet pays 2 to 1.

Fifty Percent Bets

On the left, long side of the table there are three boxes. Each one of them covers half of the numbers on the roulette wheel (not including 0 and 00) in a different way. Your bet is a 50% bet between red and black or even and off or high and low, depending on the box. These bets pay even money, 1 to 1.

Five Bet

This bet covers the following numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The chip is placed on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, between 00 and 3. If either number hits, your five bets pays 6 to 1.

Line Bet

A line bet covers the six different numbers in two rows of three numbers. For example: 1,2,3 together with 4,5,6. You place the chip on outer right boundary line of the roulette table, where the line dividing the two rows intersects it. If the ball stops at any one of the six numbers you chose, it is a win. The line bet pays 5 to 1.

Split Bet

This is a bet placed on two neighboring numbers in the roulette table, this is done by placing the chip on the line dividing the two numbers. If the ball stops on any one of the two numbers, your bet pays 17 to 1.

Straight Up

This is a straightforward simple bet. You put your chips on a single number, including zero (0) and double zero (00). If the ball stops at your number, your bet pays 35 to 1.

Street Bet

Street bets cover three numbers. You place your chip on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, next to the corresponding row of three numbers. If the ball stops on any one of the three numbers you win. This bet pays 11 to 1.

Roulette History

There are two theories as to the invention of Roulette. Both trace the game to France in the mid 17th Century. One of these theories connects Roulette to a French scientist, Blaise Pascal as the person who invented or improved the game during a "monastic retreat" and played for the first time in a Paris casino. The other theory relates the game to a French monk, saying he created it to relieve the boredom of a monastic life.

Interesting to notice is the fact that such a popular gambling game, if not the most popular was brought to us by the church. Thank God for that.

Roulette

The game of roulette is one of the first to join the world of Web Based Gambling. Many things distinguish the roulette from other casino games such as Blackjack; however, these two games share almost the same popularity when it comes to online casinos.

One of the exceptional things about roulette as a table game is that the table itself is a main part of the game. On one end of the table there is a very large roulette wheel placed horizontally. The hollow of the wheel has pockets numbered from zero to thirty-six (and a "00" in American Style Roulette). Another area of the table is marked with a pattern of boxes and numbers; this is called the game layout. Wagers in Roulette are placed on that area.

A small ball (mostly of ivory or metal) spinning around a wheel that contains thirty-seven slots in the opposite direction is the beginning of playing roulette. When the wheel stops, the ball comes to rest in one of these slots. The gamblers around the table are trying to predict the slot in which the ball will land. By predicting the right number, you earn a payoff on your bet. The pockets in which the ball lands are all of identical size and the pocket partitions are of the same height. The fact that the center and the ball travel in different directions makes it almost impossible to control the result. The ball bounces over various obstacles, depending on the specific wheel design, which further guarantees random selection.

There are different bet options and the size of the payoff depends on how the bet was placed.

Roulette a unique game full of excitement.

Blackjack Switch Terms

Switch the act of exchanging the second cards.
Super matchIs an optional bet that does not have to be the same amount as the 'Blackjack Switch' wager. It can be higher or lower, if desired. Players who place this bet are aiming to be dealt a pair or better from the initial 4 cards dealt out. (See layout on game for payout odds). All 'Super Match' bets are settled before any play of the hands.

How to play Blackjack Switch

When you play blackjack switch, the main trait of the game is that the player is allowed to 'switch' the second cards around, if desired.
For example, if you are dealt a king/five on your first hand, and a six/ace on your second hand, then you can 'switch' the second cards, the ace and five around, to make the following 2 hands: king/ace and six/five. All doubling and splitting is allowed as in regular blackjack. To balance this powerful element, the dealer will 'push' players' hands on a dealer's total of 22 (in apposed to busting in regular blackjack).
However, 'Blackjacks' will still win. This still gives the player a significant advantage and so 2 further rules are implemented to make the game an extremely fair proposition. The other 2 rules are: 1. Blackjacks pay even money. 2. Dealer Hits Soft 17.
All rules of blackjack switch are based on conventional blackjack unless written otherwise. The following are the exceptions.
Six decks are used. The player must make two bets of equal size. All cards are dealt face up. The player may switch the 2nd card dealt to each hand. Player may double on any 2 cards. Player may double after a split. Player cannot resplit. Full European no-peek rule - player loses total amount bet against a dealer blackjack. A benefit of this rule is that the player can switch to a blackjack, even if the dealer has a blackjack.

Blackjack Switch History

With the evolution of the world nothing can stand in place. Thus, the time came also for the popular game of blackjack to update itself and enter the new millennium with its new interactive demands. That is how we received blackjack switch, which can legitimately be called a present. Blackjack Switch makes the usual game an exciting and stimulating experience.
Blackjack switch brings refreshing and young life into the casinos, and proves that they too can take part in making gambling lively and stimulating in new untraditional ways.

Blackjack Switch

Blackjack switch is a variation of blackjack, which allows the player to trade cards between two hands. In the regular blackjack this is a classic cheat. The player must make two bets of equal size and is allowed to switch the second card dealt to each hand.
This costs the player quite a lot. Blackjacks pay even money and if the dealer has 22 the hand results in a push. However it can't be argued that blackjack switch has a special thrill to it. These days the game is played at Playtech web based casinos, it has had a run at the Taj Majal in Atlantic City, and other terrestrial casinos have plans to offer the game in the near future including the Four Queens in Las Vegas.
So prepare yourself for enjoyable and stimulating game where you control the order of the cards.
I recommed this game in my blog casinos games and I hope you like it

How to win Baccarat

Basic baccarat strategy

How to win baccarat? There are many basic baccarat strategy moves one can play to make the chances of winning higher. Also, there are misleading strategies best to avoid.
Among gamblers, a good baccarat strategy is usually considered a legend. The reason for this is that any strategy that promotes itself as a system is most likely full of false, deceptive, and useless information.
How to avoid useless strategies and casino traps
The scorecard
A major aspect of the baccarat games played at the local casino is the scorecard. It looks like everyone at the table is keeping track of the outcome on each hand, and that's exactly what they're doing. These players are trying to find patterns and then change their own betting patterns in order to take advantage of a streak. Since the casinos know it has no bearing on the outcome of the game they encourage this behavior. Chasing patterns in baccarat is as pointless as it is in roulette. Each hand is completely different from the next, and is never influenced by the preceding hands. This is a simple trap that gamblers all around the world fall into at one time or another. If you were betting on the flip of a coin, and it landed heads up 9 times in a row, part of your brain will without doubt yell out to you that it's likely that the 10th flip will land tails up. This reasoning is spurious; the chance of the coin landing tails up on the 10th flip is still exactly 50%, just as it was the first nine times. Any baccarat strategy that makes you change your bets based on previous hands is useless and should be completely ignored.
So, although you will see almost everyone around you at the baccarat table marking down numbers on casino provided cards, you should look at it only as personal entertainment. Don't be fooled into participating, its just another way for the casino to take your mind off the important parts of the game. Think about it, would Las Vegas casinos offer baccarat players a pencil and a chart if these could really help them win?
Card counting
The card counting is another false alley in published baccarat strategy. Card counting is usually associated with the game of blackjack, as it can be quite an effective strategy when utilized properly in the right casino. It would also appear at first, to be an authentically good strategy in baccarat, as it works off of a similar shoe. In baccarat specifically the problems with card counting derive from some basic differences in the game. Unlike blackjack baccarat does not offer opportunities to adjust your bet in mid-hand play. Blackjack offers this ability in a number of specific situations, and so you can increase your bet if your count changes during the session. The problem is of course the issue of used cards being fed back into the shoe before very many have been removed (thus making useless any count you had made to that point). Using card counting in baccarat offers hardly any situations with an advantage against the house and so the efforts become worthless.
The martingale system
Baccarat can be looked upon as a coin toss played with a lot of elegance and with quite an amount of pomposity. Many people let this oversimplified impression of the game tempt them towards using a martingale-based system.
These styles of systems have you double your bet each time you lose a hand, basing its logic on the fact that sooner or later your choice will win, and if you had doubled your bet each hand that win will regain all losses from preceding hands. This system is perfect and cannot be beaten in games like baccarat or roulette. But here comes the catch. Because this is true the casinos have issued new rules, which limit how much one can bet in one hand. Table maximums and minimums as they are referred to, put a complete end to the martingale system. For instance, you bet 5 dollars on banker and lost, next bet you put 10 bucks down on banker, next bet 20, and so on, and you keep loosing, it won't be very long before you double your bet right up to or over the table maximum. In this case of course you can't bet any higher, and your system has failed. If we only accomplish one thing with this web site, we hope it is convincing everyone that martingale systems have become absolutely horrific techniques designed to prey on the natural thought patterns of the human brain.
So if streak or pattern spotting, card counting, and systems are all ineffective strategies for baccarat, what's a good one? Looking at the numbers it becomes clear that the odds are always a little better when you bet on the banker. Does this mean you should always bet on banker? In a technical sense we suppose it does, but practically it would be the most boring use of your time ever if you just sat there betting on banker all night. However, there is the advanced baccarat strategy that can bring your odds up by far and help you win baccarat games.

Advanced Baccarat Strategy
Baccarat is a game of pure luck. The game is played using a fixed set of rules for the player and the dealer, and these rules represent the best odds of winning for both the player and for the house. Calculations have been made that show the odds of the player winning are 44.62%, losing 45.85%, and 9.53% to tie. Therefore it would seem to be to your advantage to bet on the house winning on every hand. To even out the odds the house charges a commission (usually 5%) on winning player bets placed on the house. How should this change the way you are going to bet?
Taking the commission into consideration it turns out that you are still a little better off by betting that the house will win. This theory is true when the commission is the usual 5%, however, if the commission changes then you have to change strategy. If the commission is less than 5% then it is always to your advantage to bet with the house, while if the commission is more than 5% it pays to bet on the player winning.
Removing the tie hands in the event there is no payoff, the probability of the player winning are 49.32% and for losing 50.68%. For various commissions we can calculate the following average payoffs then, assuming 100 wagers of $1 were made.
Baccarat sometimes allows for a bet to be made for a tie, and sometimes doesn't (mini baccarat typically played online usually does). Although the odds of 8 to 1 may sound tempting, it is known as one of the worst wagers in the casino, so don't bother making this bet part of your baccarat strategy.

How To Play Baccarat

Baccarat Overview

The player's aim is to get a hand that is closer to 9 in value than the banker's. The game is played modulo 10, that is if the total of the hand is larger than 10, then 10 is subtracted from the total. (Thus the value of a hand is always between 0 through 9)
For instance, if the player's cards total 15, 10 is subtracted and the value of the hand becomes 5. An ace counts as 1, two counts as 2, etc, up through nine counts as 9, but tens (also jacks, queens and kings) count as 0.
Playing the game

To start to play baccarat both player and banker are dealt two cards face down and the next move depends on the cards in the hands.
If the player or banker has a card total of 8 or 9, he turns the cards over immediately. The other must do so also. (In web based baccarat cards are always face up) A 9 value wins over any lesser total, and if neither player has a 9 then 8 wins over any lesser total. Tied 9s or tied 8s are a stand off; no money changes hands. (Unless the other players around the table can bet ties)
If neither player nor banker has a natural (a total of 8 or 9) then play goes to the player. The player stands (does not draw) on a total of 6 or 7, but if the player has a total of 5 or less he must draw one card (face up).
Now it is the bankers' turn. With a total of 7, he stands. With a total of 6 or less, his selection depends on the value of his two card total and the value of the card that the player drew. The rules are as follows:

Baccarat betting

Baccarat has quite reasonable odds for the player. On player bets the house has a small edge, to balance this the house takes a commission (usually 5 percent) on winning bank bets. Bets are made before any cards have been dealt. The banker plays against only one player at a time, but any or all the other players can bet on the hand.
Up to 12 or 14 players can sit around the baccarat kidney shaped table depending on its size. Three dealers, called croupiers, run the game; one handles the cards, while the other two handle the wagers and the commission that is paid on winning bank bets. Although where the players sit is not important, bets must be made in a marked area on the table that corresponds to the players seat. Players can bet three different ways: on the bank, on the player's hand, or for a tie. It is very common to see players switch from betting on the bank to betting on the player's hand and vice versa. Betting for a tie while having a larger payoff is not usually smart; it is considered one of the worst wagers in the casino. A bet is made by placing money on the table in your marked area on the wagered spot. For example if you are player number 5 and wish to bet on the bank you place the desired wager amount on the table layout place for player number 5 marked bank.
Winning player and bank bets pay even money (excluding commissions). Hands that result in a tie pay off tie wagers at 8 to 1 and a bank or player bet is treated as a push with the money sitting on the table for the next hand.

Baccarat History

Baccarat history can be traced back to the middle ages. It has been said the game was first played with Tarot cards. It was not long before baccarat made its way from its home country, Italy, to France. There it found a new (and welcoming) home among the upper class aristocracy. Further evolution of the game shows it split to European baccarat, and a French game that goes by the name 'chemin de fer'.
'Chemin de fer' is very similar to baccarat as it's played in American casinos today. The difference is that one of the players banks the game instead of the casino. The title of banker rotates around the table in a manner similar to the dice at a craps table. The casino of course is taking no risk here; they simply charge a fee from each banker.
The Baccarat we know today originated in Great Britain and was then passed along to South America and finally to Nevada. The infamous Dunes casino introduced baccarat in the late 50's, and since then it has made its final voyage onto the World of web based gambling.
Baccarat's popularity among the Asian population who visit Las Vegas each year is clear evidence that baccarat history can be found overseas too. The chief high rollers often come from abroad to try their hand under the chandeliers of the elegant Vegas baccarat rooms. In casinos based in the Portuguese territory of Macao, near Hong Kong, the popularity of baccarat is matchless. Unlike the heavily ordered and systematic American casinos, these Portuguese tables often allow multiple players to bet on a single spot at the same time, while the expert dealers mentally keep track of each players commission on winning bank bets.

My Casinos Games Blog ANd more

In this Blogwe have provided detailed instructions and tips for some of the more popular games.
The online casino you choose to play at should have instructions for each one. Here, we bring them all together in a clear and readable manner even for beginners.
If you are familiar with certain games, this is the place to find new good tips as well as some important information about the online casinos gambling games you know and get acquainted with the unfamiliar ones.
I added fun history background to each game (can be great to share in chat rooms), as well as terms specific to each game in order to help you enjoy a smooth and exciting gaming experience.

Baccarat is played at major casinos all over the world.

It is an exiting and thrilling game that is fun to play. You can either play the game against the dealer or wager as an active spectator that either the player's hand will win, the banker's hand will win, or that the game will result in a tie.
At land based casinos the baccarat pit is generally found off to the side away from the rest of the games. This is a room characteristically furnished more elegantly that the rest of the casino. The furniture is more expensive, the dealers will be either dressed in tuxedo or wearing elegant black and the lighting will be soft. In large casinos full of high rollers the baccarat area is serious business, and is usually played for big sums of money. The fact that it is possible to watch the game in an active way gives the gathering around the baccarat table a feeling of importance and festivity.
But don't be intimidated by all of this if you are smaller wagers. Your bets will be treated with the same respect as bets placed by the high rollers, and online baccarat is a different story.
Baccarat is a game of chance played with tempo and style. Baccarat has a low casino edge, giving the player a much better chance of winning more over time than if you were for example feeding coins into a slot machine, or playing roulette. Web based baccarat also has an advantage that unlike other games like blackjack and craps where making a mistake can cost you greatly, the casino's edge is fixed and you can't make it worse by making a mistake.
Another advantage is that though baccarat has strict rules that must be followed, you as a player need not even ever really learn them. The casino dealer is paid to know the rules, direct the players when to make bets, collect losing bets and pay off winners, and in mini-baccarat even deal the cards. In online play, you simply bet on one of three possible results (banker, tie or player) and let the game play it-self.
Maintaining all the rules and excitement of the regular game, mini-baccarat is a newer version of the game and is the type of baccarat played at online casinos. The only difference is that there are fewer players at the table and in mini-baccarat the casino dealer always deals. With some of the best odds at any casino and the ease of play, you have a one of the highest chances of winning when gambling at a web-based baccarat game.
Baccarat or more properly, "baccarat punto" or "punto banco" is one of a family of games that includes baccarat banque and chemin de fer. The factor that makes these games different from one another is who is allowed to play the role of the bank. In the U.K. and in North America, only the baccarat punto version, where the house plays the role of banker, is found. Baccarat punto is the most common, so common that when we use the term "baccarat" it is typically assumed to be referring to this game.
